A little background on Matthew and I-we always just thought and assumed we would have boys ( I don’t know why Finley is the only boy on both sides of our family! I knew right away I was having a boy with Finley though!). I really wanted all boys, I love love love love being a boy mom. That being said we had a million boy’s names picked out, mostly starting with “F” so when we found out we were having a girl we were a bit shocked. Super excited now, but this made the name game so hard! My top choices were 1) Hadley and 2) Penelope. I wanted them to go with “Finley” obviously and these both ended with the same sounds. Matthew didn’t love either of these so we finally just stuck with our gut and chose one of our favorite “F” names: FOSTER! Her name will be Foster Eloise. So I chose Eloise from the book series because I just think it’s hysterical, and it gives “Foster” a little girly-ness to even out the edginess!
I’ve always worn this necklace with Finley’s name and date of birth on it and get so many questions/compliments on it. I knew right away I wanted something a little different for her name and Gigimey made me the perfect one!
