HOW-TO: Pack for a toddler and yourself in one bag part 2

We’re traveling to Estes Park, Colorado this week, follow along on my insta! I wanted to show you how to pack for a toddler and yourself in one bag, because I’m kinda the packing queen! We’re going to 7 days and I’ll pack all our stuff in one bag. I already posted on how to get through the airport here. So this post isn’t including pack and play, stroller etc.

  1. Be as hands free as possible. I usually carry my Hermes evelyne cross body but I’m not even bringing that. I’ll bring this backpack (below) which I use as a diaper bag, and if I go out without Finley my makeup bag turns into a clutch.
  2. PACK LIGHT!- Estes is not the time to pull our all your best clothes and shoes. Pick all your faves that are easy to mix and match-Finley and I both wear a lot of grey and blues, so that’s easy to mix and match.
  3. One pair of jeans and one pair of shorts is the rule for this trip, with a few athleisure wear pants mixed in.
  4. I always try to wear my “biggest” shoe to the airport so it’s never packed in the luggage-in this case my Nikes. I’ll pack small, flat slides and my birkenstocks in my luggage. Finley will wear one pair and I’ll pack one pair.
  5. Don’t pack your whole package of diapers and wipes, take what you need for that day and buy all that stuff when you get to your destination. I also bring a few toys and books that are easy to pack.
